Family fun

Christmas 2008
Here, there and everywhere!!!
HOORAY... Nathan had a safe flight home the weekend before christmas. We where concerned that his flight was going to be delayed but it was not. What a relief... He got home early Monday morning right around midnight. We started our celebrations the weekend before he got back with the Thompson Christmas on Saturday and the Chap Christmas on Sunday. The girls had a blast and loved all the gifts they got. We had a little pj party on Saturday night and watched 'Camp Rock' I am now a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers!!! Monday and Tuesday the girls had school, so Nathan and I had some time to finish up our last minute shopping and get some groceries. Christmas eve we started our morning with some kisses from the girls, and some smoked Chickens, YUMMY!!! Then some coffee and breakfast. Nathan's brother Jean was coming out to celebrate with us, so we made some chili for a late lunch. Once everyone was showered and ready to go we all sat down and opened presents. The girls where excited with their new gifts, however it seemed like whatever Aubrie recieved Kyleah wanted and whatever Kyleah got Aubrie wanted. I guess it was a win win situation. UNTIL now... fights fights fights... Anyways, it was off to Eric and Carissa's in the evening to celebrate with my family. We laughed and had a great time, Jean got the money prize, or so he thinks... Pickled eggs, heart and something else. It was then time for the girls to go. On Christmas day, Nathan, Jean and I celebrated a little different. We started with a good egg bake, then off to conquer the world. We went and drove around in Jean's Scout! Love that thing... By night fall we where back home singing 'Sing Star' and playing 'Rock Band 2' All in all, it was a great Christmas, the 1st for Nathan and I. We can't wait to have many many more!!! We are now all still on Christmas vacation and trying to stay busy. Nathan is busy working on his snowmobiles, I have been busy with work and the girls... well they keep us going. Between Kyleah and her new snowboard or Aubrie and her new guitar, we never go a minute without hearing 'KYLEAH'... 'AUBRIE'... Just as I am writing this I hear a new one coming from Kyleah. She is trying to help Aubrie find some string for braclets and she just yelled 'Well maybe this would be a little easier if your room was cleaner' WOW, what are we in for? Help, anyone...
I hope this finds everyone feeling great about Christmas and Happy for the New Year!

Love you all!!!
