Well we have now officially started summer!!
Aubrie graduated from kindergarten on Monday. She was so excited she giggled the entire way there. Her teacher made it really special for their class, we started out with the diploma's then she put together a little cd slide show of the classes year together and lastly on to some year memories. By the end of the hour both her and I where in tears.
Kyleah cruised right through her last year of elementary school, she said good bye to her favorite teacher yet. She is ready for the middle school, question is... is Nathan, mom and her dad ready for her to be in the middle school?!?! We really don't have a choice.
The girls are both doing so well, we couldn't ask for anything more.
Nathan and I are staying very busy also. The house is completely sheet rocked, YAY!!! So happy about that. This week my brother Eric started to tape and mud the upstairs while Nathan finished up any loose ends around the house, putting in the rest of the floor so no one falls through.... I tell you what, it makes me so happy to say that my husband is a man of many talents. I love knowing that nothing makes him happier than to make his house a home for his family. There has not been a lot of time this year to ride motorcycles, but Nathan has great intentions to get out on one of them soon. Possibly this weekend.
The dogs... well they are now 7 and 6 months old and there is not a day that goes by that they don't get yelled at for chewing on something. It is getting better though!!!
Our garden- Well, it is big but we love it. I believe we have close to 20 tomato plants, 18 hills of cucumbers, onions, red cabbage, green cabbage, beans, peas, dill, cilantro, and some other things that I am drawing a blank on. Our newest addition... this past weekend the family went out into the old shed and cleaned it out. We are getting it ready for 50 chickens to come early next week. I had to sweet talk Nathan into it but yet once the barn got cleaned out he was more excited than us girls. Aubrie wants to name them all... and Kyleah she wants to skip chickens and get some beef... One thing at a time girls, I learned that from Nathan telling me that. Everyday!
We look forward to celebrating the many birthday's in the month of June with our loved ones, and the camping trips that come along with them. I hope this blog finds everyone in good health, sent with lots of love: Nathan, Tina, Kyleah and Aubrie

Our house... cont.
House... House... and more house!
Well, I made a New Year's goal to become better at blogging and that hasn't happened yet. I am doing good though because the year is not half over, YET.
Nathan and Eric have been sooo busy working on the upstairs. They are doing such a wonderful job!!! We are now to the point where the sheet rocking is almost done, then we mud and tape. Things are starting to come together. I told Nathan the other day that before you know it, this will all just be a memory.
Kyleah is doing great, she is working very hard to finish her last year of elementary school strong. She will be going to summer school this summer, and has a positive attitude about it! We are proud of her. She just had track and field day at the school and I was lucky enough to witness speedy run the 50 yard dash. MAN does that girl have legs. With everyday that comes and goes I come to realize that she is not a little girl anymore.
Aubrie continues to grow like a weed. She is such a happy little girl. She continues to do really well in school. Reading books and learning her letters. Kindergarten has really wowed us for her. Nathan and I where excited to both go to her 'Clown Day' where they all put on costumes and then had a parade. It truly was so cute!! Then there was her 'Twins' themed spring concert. She had to wear MN Twins colors and they sang different songs that pertained to twins.
I am doing good, just trying to keep up with everyone and make sure that they are where they need to be and when ;o) We did manage to get out camping at the beginning of May, was a little cold but we still had a great time! We look forward to many more camping trips to come this summer. We love our little camper...
We hope that everyone reading is having a great time in weather. Take care, Love the Thompson's

New Year's goal...
Oh my, I was just looking at our blog and noticed that it is extremely out of date. One of my goals this year was to keep it up and going.
SO, here is a run down of what the Thompson's have been up too:
January, Kyleah turned 10... yes 10. I feel very old! She choose a few cousins to bring with her and Aubrie and we headed up to the Monticello Rec center for a day of fun. Lois and Megan joined us, what a great day! Kyleah had a blast, and I enjoyed catching up with Lois.
The first weekend in February was the annual Chap family hotel weekend. Nathan and I went up as 'honeymooners' because the girls where spending time with their other parents. It was a nice little break from normal. Back to reality when we got home though! We have now got the upstairs clean and ready for the electrical to be done. Soon to be getting quotes for installation and heating. We are very excited for the girls to both have their own bedrooms upstairs WITH their own bathroom. Then I for one, can go to the bathroom or take a bath ALONE... I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I think... Until next time- Hope everyone is happy and healthy, Love the Thompson's

Deck the halls...
Well Christmas is officially right around the corner. We are about as prepared as we are going to get. Gifts bought, wrapped and under the tree, mistletoe up... for the big kids... This Christmas year should be one to go down in the books for. It will be the first Christmas that we are married and the girls are NOW sisters. They have always acted it but it's stamped and certified now... No going back Aubrie and Kyleah!

This year I am looking forward to Christmas more than ever, Nathan has brought so much joy into my life. I am forever grateful that we have from now until eternity to make memories!!!
Nathan and I are just trucking day by day, remodelling the upstairs of our home. Which has turned out to be quite the project. Here I was thinking that if I helped him tear stuff down that everything else would just magically finish itself. Well I was sadly mistaken... Nathan is a man of many talents and I can not wait to see him work his magic. The girls, spunky as ever. Kyleah finished her 4th grade Christmas store project and we are excited to be having the stores this week on Friday. Aubrie had muffins for mom's on Monday morning this week. It was a great time, we got to read a book and do some different coloring projects along with her showing me where all the projects that we have finished at home are hung around the school. The first week in December, Nathan and I did our yearly tradition of going to cut down a tree with the Eckoff's at a local tree farm. This year a was little different... No Snow and truth be told it wasn't even that cold out. So we pulled out the good ole farm truck and went tree shopping. Unfortunately the girls where not with us, but it was a good memory for a new husband and wife. We had other special things planned out for when the girls came home. Along with us in the farm truck though we had company. Nicholas decided that he was going to hang out with Uncle Nathan... His new word of the day, taught by Uncle Nathan was "Burn It" followed by "Uncle Nathan do another smoky burn out" in a 4 year old voice. I laughed pretty hard.
After walking through many rows, far and wide, we found our tree...
Plus there are always those moments for people (Nathan) to goof off, although in my eyes he does make a pretty good star... Or KISS member?!?!?
It was a lot of fun, we finished up with a hay ride and some hot cider with a cookie.
We also had the annual Chap girls cookie bake. The girls and I hosted... Let me tell you, I thought our house was huge but put the Chap/Baker/Eckhoff/Pokornowski/Thompson ladies in there and it felt pretty darn small. Always busy, but so much fun! I would post pictures but I was so busy hosting, I didn't take any... OK, I really just didn't think about it. My sister's with nicer camera's took them all.
I hope this blog finds you all healthy and well, there are so many things to be grateful this year.
We love you all, Nathan, Tina, Kyleah and Aubrie

We are married...
What an amazing last 2 months that we have had. We had our showers and celebrations on Octorber 3. We got together with all our closest friends and family and celebrated our love for each other. We had a blast, playing games, taking pictures and just making memories.
Buying a house was another thing we decided to through in the mix. We bought the house that I grew up in just south of Cokato. A lot of work to be done, but we sure are looking forward to making great memories with our family there. I know that I have a ton!!!
On November 7, 2009, Nathan and I vowed infront of all our beautiful family members and friends to love each other for the rest of our lives!! What a great day it was!! Sunday we had gift opening at my Dad's house, with lots of new things our house is sure to become a home. Monday morning, Nathan and I left on our honeymoon, destination.... Rivera Mya, Mexico. What an amazing time we had. Nathan had never been to Mexico and I loved ever minute of watching his eyes light up as he took everything in. A little untrusting of people the first day but we settled right in the rest of the week.
To our surpirse we had a great gift waiting for us to get home. To any of you that know my Dad, he is an avid John Deere man, well Nathan is a die hard International man. So at the end of the drive way years ago my dad made a green sign with a 'C' on it. To our surprise waiting at the end of the driveway was our newly painted RED 'T'. We had a great laugh and thanked him for it. We appreciated him standing out in the cold weather painting while we where basking in the sun. We are now settling into life as we know it and we love every minute of it!!!
On a different note, there are many 'Thank you's' that need to be given out for all the hard work and just the different things that have been done for Nathan and I in the past 2 months. We would like to Thank; Melissa Eckhoff and Jean Thompson for standing up and being the Matron of Honor and the Best Man, we couldn't have done it with out the both of you!!

We had amazing support standing up there next to us as we became 1, thank you also to Amanda, Annette and Jesse for the women. Josh, Joe and Eric for the guys. Ushers... Jake, Mike and Joe... Greatness... You all are the bestest wedding party one could ask for!!!

All I can say is that Nathan and I are so extremely blessed to have such amazing support and love. You are all our rock! We love you all!!!
PS- I promise now that life has slowed down a little I promise to update my blog more often!!!!
I hope that everyone is in great spirits and health~
Love, Nathan and Tina Thompson ;o)

We are still alive...
Well where to begin, it has been a while since our last post. I will try to fill you all in on whatever we have been up too.

After a day full of fun we headed back to the cabin for some family time.

The weekend came and went really fast and a lot of great memories where made! Until next year...Then came and went July!!! We had a lot of fun with all the carnivals and whatnot that we visited.

Back in July Nathan and I decided to trade in the Mazda and get something a little more family style. Here was the last picture taken with me and my car, I don't miss it a bit!!!

A bunch of us got together the last weekend in July and went for a great motorcycle ride. We left from our house in Cokato and rode to Stillwater, MN then off to WI. Here are some of the pictures from that amazing day!!!

The middle of August brought the 3 day Breast Cancer Walk. I had the great pleasure of taking my neice and nephew down to the cities to support their Grandma Judy and their Aunt Tammy who walked the Twin Cities 2009. There was a lot of love floating around in the air and the kidders seemed to really enjoy it even though I woke them up at 5am to make the first cheer station.

The end of August brought Nathan and I one step closer to our wedding date... We had our engagement pictures taken. They turned out wonderful!!! A huge Thank you goes out to our photographer Renee's Photography out of Dassel, MN. She does wonderful work!!!

Out of NO WHERE... along came September, both girls are in school this year. Kyleah is in the 4th grade, you know the big dog of the Elementary school or so they say. Aubrie is starting Kindergarten. We are excited for them both. Watch for pictures to follow, today is Aubrie's first day. Will be posting them sooner than later!!! I promise to be better at posting.
Starting back in July- Well we had the annual Chap family camping. Great time was had by all. We started the weekend up at Jesse and Jeremy's cabin. Saturday we got up and decided to take the girls to Paul Bunyon land. It was great, the girls loved it and so did we.

The first weekend in August, I had my 10 year class reunion. It was great to see some of the people that I haven't seen in ages. Good to catch up with them and all that they have accomplished. Go Class of 1999...
Also, this year Nathan and I purchased our first home (on wheels...) We bought a 1978 coachman camper. We have had a blast using it a few times, staying local to make sure everything works and from what we know - it's a keeper. Sleeps 6 and keeps us dry! One of our first camping trips was out to Grandma and Grandpa Rozekski's south of Cokato. We had a good time and the girls got to ride on some tractors.
